FAQ

Are you related to Roger Zelazny?

Yes. I am his son.

May I ask you for permission to use his work, either to adapt for film or some other such project?

Sadly, I have little to do with that. Please don’t bother. I don’t mean to sound mean or anything, it’s just not something I have control over.

Do you ever collaborate with other writers?

On rare occasions. The few collaborations I’ve done have been with close friends whose work I very much admire.

May I contact you regarding your work to adapt for film or some other such project?

You can, yes. In fact I would be tickled if you found something of mine worth trying. Please note, however, that any inqueries will be forwarded to one of my agents in either California or New York, depending on the project.

Who do you pay to publish your books?

I don’t pay anybody. I’ve found it works much better when I can get them to pay me.

May I please use your agent, or will you put me in touch with your agent so I can show them my masterpiece?

No.

If I write you, will you actually respond?

I try to. I’ve gotten really busy and the last year has sucked wang and, well, I have to admit, I’m somewhat of a flake. Don’t take it personally if you don’t get a response right away.

How could I take it personally? We don’t even know each other.

Likely true, but I’ve been surprised several times by people I don’t know.
